After hearing Beatgrinders? ?Primetime? for the first time, it was clear to us that the song was a warning of sorts. Logically, our minds collectively made the leap to a man who is captured and subsequently harvested for the production of dairy products. Logic was definitely the basis for this music video.
Mathias Verleyens bleak take on the mechanics of life and death.
With a distinct vision and a keen eye for gripping compositions that resemble tableaux vivants, Verleyen manages to peel back the curtain on parts of human life we usually choose to ignore; and he does so without ever losing his sense of reverence for the beauty that?s hiding in these dark corners.

In Levende Liedjes, Enak Cortebeeck brings the musical world of Kapitein Winokio to life with original animation. Drawn together by Eva Mouton and directed and animated by Enak. The dvd was made available through De Morgen in the summer of 2012.
It*s a rare feeling, realising that a teaser achieves the same quality and originality as the product it is supposed to tease.
For the Fall of Man, a home-brew project, our own Toon Mertens wanted to reimagine the way the Flemish Primitives would be constructed in today*s technologically advanced world. So he poured all their dogma*s into photography, creating a 3 by 5 meters tall image of mankind falling in the abyss, as well as an interactive version on jackinabox.be/fom
